San Foundation launched a Capital Campaign to raise $20 million for the Integrated Cancer Centre.
When cancer touches your life, or someone you care about, it can be a challenging and distressing time. We recognise the benefits that comprehensive cancer care can bring to patients during such a traumatic and difficult time and that it why the Foundation has given its strong support to this important initiative.
The Integrated Cancer Centre has built on the San's existing expertise, experience and world-class reputation, providing a 'one-stop' management and therapy centre delivering outstanding cancer care for our patients.
Sydney Adventist Hospital is a major contributor to clinical research via the San Clinical Trials Unit, and is at the cutting edge of current and future treatments.
The Centre offers easy access to diagnostic, consulting, treatment and recovery services including:
The Integrated Cancer Centre provides access to the existing multidisciplinary specialist teams, allowing patients a more comprehensive and individualised treatment program, and coordination of their different types of treatment.
It has strengthened links between private and public sector facilities by continuing to provide chemotherapy services for the Hornsby Kuring-gai Public Hospital patients.
The Integrated Cancer Centre is part of the milestone redevelopment which opened in October 2014, and additional services will be progressively opened as they are completed.
Our heartfelt thanks are given to our generous donors - through them we have been able to raise our target of $20 million for the Integrated Cancer Centre . Some donors who have supported this visionary project have chosen to commemorate their donation by participating in our various Naming Opportunities, some of which are still available. Others have done so anonymously. We thank you for your consideration in this very important investment, 'yours for life'.
