ICIMS

The Integrated Cancer Information Management System (ICIMS), specifically designed for the San Integrated Cancer Centre, ensures that clinicians in the multidisciplinary cancer teams have all relevant information at their fingertips about their patients with cancer, so they can provide the best evidence-based medical decisions to optimise care. ICIMS Phase 2 will facilitate clinical and wellbeing pathways to improve longevity and quality of life for patients with cancer, along with prevention of disease recurrence.

Robotic Surgery

Philanthropic support will facilitate ongoing upgrades of equipment and software, to ensure that surgeons at the San continue to have access to the most contemporary and innovative equipment and supporting research in this ever-evolving field.

Prostate Centre of Excellence

The current focus of The Prostate Centre of Excellence is researching the efficacy of drug delivery directly into organs to ascertain if better outcomes are achieved than through oral or intravenous administration.

Ear, Nose and Throat Advancements

Microtia effects children through hearing loss and psychological impacts from the stigma of facial deformity. Access to 3D bioprinting offers a new hope of a single step reconstruction at an early age, allowing faster implementation and greater health outcomes.
